We’re looking to hire a skilled estimation professional to assist our busy team by producing proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs. If you have 3 years of experience in construction estimation, and excellent project and time management skills, please apply today. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers • Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information • Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole • Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects Qualifications: • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Requires critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills • Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary • Comprehension of research methodology, accounting, data and risk analysis, and estimation metrics is crucial • 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary • Knowledge in Blue Beam and Job Tread software preferred. Compensation: $28 - $32.5 hourly
