Job summary

Aqua Ohio, a unit of Aqua America, Inc., is seeking a Construction Coordinator III to plan and execute water and sewer mainline projects in Ohio. You will work with engineering, operations, contractors, and public officials on projects from initial planning to as-built drawings.

Ideal candidates have a civil/Environmental/Construction engineering background or an associate degree with multi-year experience in construction management. Travel within Ohio may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in civil/environmental/construction engineering preferred.
• Alternative: associate degree with 2+ years in construction management; or 10 years of related experience.
• Must have valid Ohio driver’s license and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan and construct water and sewer mainline capital projects from planning through as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with accounting, operations, public officials, contractors and developers.
• Manage capital budgets and 5/10-year plant replacement plans.
• Oversee contractor activities, change orders, and pay applications.
• Prepare permit applications and bid documents; supervise inspectors.
• Ensure safety policies and compliance with state/local requirements.
