Job summary

Sunrise Telecom Inc in Pataskala, Ohio is looking for a Construction Coordinator 1 to supervise and coordinate daily activities on one or more active construction projects. You will work under the Operations Manager and Owner, ensuring field operations run smoothly and safely.

You will verify location and scope of work, track progress and quality, maintain the project schedule, manage supplies and documentation, emphasize safety, and support the crew with administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Organized and self-motivated to provide project support.
• Conscientious professional with pleasant phone manner and strong organization.
• 1-3 years of prior construction field experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Field verifying location and nature of work by visually inspecting the site.
• Confirm quality and quantity of work at the end of each day.
• Maintain acceptable performance standards and crew metrics for the project.
• Maintain the project schedule.
• Handle administrative functions to document work (ordering, tracking supplies, billing, hours, safety documents).
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed at all times.
• Perform other related work as assigned by supervisor.

Principaldutiesand Responsibilities:

• Field verifying location and nature of work being performed by putting eyes on the project.
• Confirmqualityofworkbeingdoneandquantitydoneattheend of each day.
• Responsibleformaintainingacceptableperformancestandardsandmetricsofcrewworkingon project.
• Maintaincontractschedule.
• Responsibleforalladministrativefunctionsnecessarytodocumentworkincludingbutnot limited to ordering and tracking of supplies, billing, hours, safety documents, etc.
• Ensuresafetypracticesandproceduresarebeingfollowedatalltimes.
