Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Construction Coordinator to oversee daily supervision and operations on a construction project or crew. The role emphasizes field verification, quality control, and maintaining project schedules, with a focus on documenting work and safety compliance.

The candidate should have 1–3 years of construction experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-direct daily activities.
• Organized and motivated to provide project support as directed.
• Conscientious professional with pleasant phone manner and good organizational skills.
• 1–3 years of construction field experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Field verifying location and nature of work by visual inspection at the project site.
• Confirm quality of work and quantity completed at end of each day.
• Maintain acceptable performance standards and metrics for crew on the project.
• Maintain contract schedule.
• Document work including ordering/tracking supplies, billing, hours, safety documents, etc.
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed at all times.
• Perform other related work as assigned using available resources to achieve goals.
