Our client, in the construction and project management industry, is seeking a Construction Coordinator to join their team. As a Construction Coordinator, you will be part of the Project & Development Services department supporting onsite construction activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Coordinator
Location:San Antonio, TX
Pay Range: $35 to $37/hr.

What's the Job?

• Support on-site project execution for construction projects, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
• Oversee daily construction activities, verify contractor compliance with safety and quality standards, and document progress.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve field conflicts and manage project documentation.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, photographs, and records of construction progress and safety observations.
• Assist in preparing project updates, schedule reports, and safety documentation, including safety audits and permit routing.

What's Needed?

• Current OSHA 30-Hour Outreach Course certification for the Construction Industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings across multiple disciplines.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a construction field role such as field coordinator, assistant superintendent, or project engineer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with construction management platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to document field conditions clearly and coordinate effectively with diverse teams.
