SERVPRO of Perry Hall/White Marsh is hiring a Construction Coordinator to support project management from start to finish. You will assist with customer service, manage the customer experience, monitor requirements, and coordinate scheduling of warranty activities while maintaining clear communications.

The ideal candidate has strong organization, superb interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle stressful, lengthy projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in business/related field preferred.
• Superb customer service track record and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service and management of the customer experience
• Monitor and ensure client requirements are followed
• Assist with scheduling all warranty activities
• Enter lead/jobs into the operating system and ensure project information is accurate
• Schedule Construction Manager initial visit with customer
• Educate customers on process
• Review and validate project file documentation
• Confirm scope of work with Construction Manager is complete
• Maintain customer communications and log updates
• Prepare project reports and manage paperwork at closeout
• Maintain WIP and update stakeholders on status

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service and management of the customer experience
• Monitor and ensure client requirements are followed
• Assist with scheduling all warranty activities
• Enter lead/jobs into the operating system and make sure all information in the project is correct
• Schedule Construction Manager initial visit with customer
• Educate customers on process
• Review and validate project file documentation
• Confirm with Construction Manager project scope of work is complete
• Maintain customer and client communications
• Support Construction Managers ensuring customer and client agreement on scope and estimate
• Ensure all paperwork is complete with customer and client
• Issue POs based on project budget
• Validate completed PO documentation
• Update contract status with change orders and keep customer and client advised
• Maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) report
• Maintain internal and external communications
• Maintain communication log
• Prepare project reports
• Upon completion, review file documentation and update as necessary
• Manage collections activities
• Perform project close-out

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Associate or Bachelor of Business Administration is preferred
• Superb customer service track record
• Effective written and oral communication
• Intermediate math skills
• Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred

Skills Required

• Must be able to use basic Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Organization and attention to detail required
• Must be comfortable speaking with customers regularly throughout the course of stressful and lengthy projects
