SERVPRO of Newtown/Yardley/New Hope/Levittown & North East Chester County is seeking a Construction Manager to lead restoration projects from estimation to completion. You will guide customers through the process, craft initial scopes, and coordinate crews and specialists to deliver high-quality results.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate estimating, and adherence to safety and building codes, with growth opportunities within a nationwide franchise network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service track record.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced math skills.
• Proficient in Xactimate estimating software.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Team player with driving record in good standing.
• Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for customer service and management of the customer experience.
• Educate customers on the construction process and upgrade options.
• Ensure estimates meet client requirements and budget constraints.
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
• Prepare accurate sketches and initial scopes of work.
• Develop and review project schedules and timelines.

• Secure required permits and manage warranty activities.
• Ensure work complies with plans, codes, and scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for customer service and management of the customer experience
• Educate customer on the construction process
• Work with customers to understand desired upgrades/changes
• Ensure that estimates meet client requirements
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
• Create an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for construction projects
• Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate
• Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades
• Identify and document finalized project scope of work
• Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e., Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.)
• Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates
• Compile and resolve punch list items
• Perform final walk-through with customer
• Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from customer
• Manage all warranty activities
• Evaluate and sell projects
• Educate customers on construction process
• Identify and document project scope of work
• Create and Review estimates
• Obtain customer and client agreement on scope and estimate
• Review budgets
• Ensure proper permits are acquired
• Create project schedule and timeline
• Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers
• Negotiate terms and set expectations
• Plan, organize, and manage crews and subcontractors
• Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers
• Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work

Position Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• 2 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Superb customer service track record
• Effective written and oral communication
• Advanced math skills
• Proficient use of Xactimate estimating software strongly preferred
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team Player
• Must have good driving record
• Experience in restoration and/or construction required

Competitive Pay

starts at $50k base salary with strong commission and bonus earning potential
