Construction Coordinator (Construction)

The Construction Coordinator is responsible for virtual engineering of proposed residential and commercial projects, ensuring alternative routing delivers the most cost-effective design for construction. They research and review plans, gather necessary data, and list material requirements for projects. (Duties may vary depending on management.)

Essential Position Functions:

1. Partner with internal and external customers to communicate project tasks and schedules.
2. Coordinate activities with team members and clients to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, rules, rates, and project deadlines.
3. Prepare budgets and track expenses, providing estimates within department guidelines.
4. Survey proposed service routing and estimate materials, construction, and labor costs.
5. Order materials or coordinate with administrative personnel.
6. Verify and reconcile invoices, release addresses as serviceable, and notify relevant departments.
7. Manage document control and maintain clear communication with customers and team members.
8. Organize and maintain project data and files accurately.
9. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to track jobs, review/approve invoices, and manage POs.
10. Escalate project issues impacting completion or customer satisfaction.
11. Review land and right-of-way agreements, deeds, easements, permits, and licenses.
12. Assist with bidding and RFP responses, including client presentations.
13. Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. 5-7 years experience with hybrid fiber coax networks in an office setting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Windows OS. Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changing environments. Must pass drug and background checks.

Physical Demands:
