Job summary

AES Corporation is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to oversee multi-million dollar construction management across our energy projects. The role supports Project Managers, coordinates sequence reviews, IFC prints, and delivery of critical milestones on time and within scope.

The successful candidate will lead safety coordination, QA/QC practices, and change order documentation while ensuring compliance with AES standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction management of multi-million dollar projects.
• Experience with electric utility projects preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of project construction and provide routine updates to Project Managers.
• Review construction sequence and issue for Construction (IFC) prints.
• Ensure QA/QC on applicable construction methods and materials.
• Lead construction activity coordination and host weekly construction meetings.
• Coordinate safety, environmental involvement, change orders, and close-out tasks.

Apply now and energize your career with a true leader in global energy.Job Summary:The individual will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project construction, providing routine updates to Project Managers as well as coordinating material acquisition, delivery and receipt.Main Responsibilities:Complete Daily reports, if not supplied by Contractor, and submit to Project ManagerReview overall construction sequence and Issue for Construction (IFC) printsEnsure QA/QC on applicable construction methods/materialsEnsure construction activities are in accordance with AES Requirements and Construction Specifications.Lead construction activity coordinationHost Weekly Construction meetingsCoordinate necessary protection and control isolation sequenceReceive isolation ordersCoordinate with the Safety Group to schedule Safety CoordinatorsInformed of site safety issues from Safety ObserverActively participate in safety observation and improvement activitiesReview invoices and validates units of work or milestones completedCollection of signed material receipts from contractor and then forward to Project Manager for Goods Receipt (GR) creationCoordinate with AES Environmental involvement (SWPPP inspections, soil testing, material disposal, etc)Assist Project Manager in assembly of documentation for Change Order RequestsCoordinate and document return of all unused material.Assist Project Manager in project close out check listParticipate in construction contractor bid evaluationsCoordinate construction contractor performance evaluations and documentationExperience:A minimum of 3 years experience associated with construction management of multi-million dollar projects. Experience with electric utility projects preferred.
