Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Construction Controller in New Jersey to lead the full-cycle accounting function. You will report directly to the CFO and own month-end close, reconciliations, and project accounting for multiple job sites.

You’ll partner with project teams to monitor profitability, drive improvements in reporting and controls, and support strategic finance initiatives as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Must have strong construction accounting experience.
• Hands-on with WIP reporting, job costing, and project accounting.
• Proven ability to own an accounting function and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of full-cycle accounting for the company.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage WIP reporting, job costing, project accounting, and cost-to-complete analyses.
• Improve processes, controls, and financial visibility across the organization.
• Partner with CFO and project teams to drive profitability and cash flow.
