Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Experience with construction accounting, job costing, and project-based financial management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, job costing, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Monitor project profitability and provide regular reporting on job performance and costs.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against budget.
• Coordinate audits, reviews, and tax preparation with external partners.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financing activities.
• Maintain job costing systems and report on project financials.
• Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls.
