Addison Group is seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Specialist to join its Legal & Compliance team in Mooresville, NC. The role centers on reviewing, redlining, and negotiating construction contracts and related agreements.

Initially onsite for six months with potential for hybrid work based on proximity and business needs. Ideal candidates will have in-house or firm experience in contract administration and a strong risk-management mindset.

Competenze

• 3+ years in-house legal or contract administration experience, or 5+ years in a law firm involving contract review/negotiation.
• Strong experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial contracts or subcontract agreements.
• Experience with construction contracts, subcontract administration, or construction industry is preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex contractual language, identify risks, and suggest revisions.

• Review, redline, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontract agreements, and commercial business agreements.
• Analyze contract terms and identify potential risks related to liability, indemnification, insurance, and payment provisions.
• Review scopes of work, standard provisions, and project-specific requirements for alignment with company standards.
• Coordinate with leadership, Operations, Finance, and legal counsel to resolve issues and negotiate favorable terms.
• Manage contract documentation, revisions, approvals, and execution through the lifecycle.
• Support contractor, business, and corporate licensing requirements, including renewals and compliance tracking.
