Job summary
Sundt is seeking a contracts professional in Charlotte, NC to negotiate terms for construction procurements, develop and review subcontractor agreements, and manage contract documents end-to-end on projects.
Ideal candidates have a four-year engineering/construction management degree with 5+ years of related experience, familiarity with lnEight, and ability to work with legal and procurement teams to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Four-year Engineering or Construction Management degree or equivalent with 5+ years experience.
- Experience with lnEight software preferred.
- Experience as Engineer/PM/Estimator desired but not required.
Responsibilities
- Communicate via phone/email to resolve problems quickly.
- Analyze insurance certificates and coordinate with contract admins prior to execution.
- Develop contracts using the lnEight system.
- Assist in negotiating terms with subcontractors and vendors.
- Draft subcontracts and purchase orders for construction projects.
- Understand construction estimates and budgets.
