Job summary

MYR Group, Inc. in Thornton, Colorado seeks a Legal Counsel to review, interpret, and negotiate construction contracts with clients, partners, subcontractors, and vendors. You will support disputes, risk management, and regulatory compliance in a collaborative in-house team.

This on-site position offers growth, cross-functional collaboration, and exposure to EPCs, joint ventures, and major projects across North America.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7+ years of construction law experience
• Active state bar admission and ability to become licensed in Colorado within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support in all aspects of construction law
• Review, draft, and negotiate construction contracts
• Draft documentation and provide legal support for disputes involving construction projects
• Ensure proper organization and timely completion of relevant project documents
• Respond promptly and accurately to internal and external inquiries
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Essential Functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location
• Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and as well as other applicable industry-specific professional and ethical standards
