Job summary

Performance Contracting Group, based in Lenexa, Kansas, is seeking a Contract Analyst to support the contract management process within the Legal Department. The role focuses on reviewing and negotiating construction contracts, ensuring compliance with company policy and applicable laws, and coordinating contract activities at headquarters.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience reviewing and revising contracts, preferably in construction-related environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Review, revise and negotiate construction contracts and related documents to identify and minimize company risk.
  • Identify, analyze and summarize contract issues to ensure compliance with policy, laws and regulations.
  • Generate amendments to modify contract terms & conditions.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to negotiate terms.
  • Track and report status of contract negotiations.
  • Train internal employees on contract administration policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional job duties as assigned.
