O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Construction Cost Specialist to review and approve General Contractor payment applications for new, relocation, renovation, and remodel projects. You will ensure contract compliance, review material testing reports, and coordinate reimbursements, bonds, and final cost reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of general office experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong research skills, including internet research and analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reading comprehension to interpret policies and agreements.

Responsibilities

• Audit General Contractor payment applications and verify receipt of all contractual documents.
• Review Lucernex workflow documents including permits, insurance, and subcontractor lists.
• Compare schedule of values to progress reports and resolve questionable amounts.
• Enter payments into Lucernex budget tracking and monitor change orders.
• Process miscellaneous invoices and review lien waiver documents for compliance.
• Coordinate with Legal to resolve liens and notices during projects.
• Prepare final project cost reports for Finance.
