Job summary

The Vertex Companies, LLC is a global consulting firm delivering strategic advisory, project management, and dispute resolution for complex construction challenges. The Construction Consultant analyzes schedules, costs, and performance to support claims and disputes.

Working with senior consultants, attorneys, owners, and project teams, you will prepare client deliverables, perform technical analyses, and contribute to engagements across diverse projects while traveling to site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or 8+ years of related experience with no degree.
• Experience on commercial, institutional, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Ability to review and interpret construction schedules, contracts, and cost documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze construction project documentation, including schedules, contracts, cost records, and change orders.
• Prepare technical analyses on delays, disruption, productivity loss, and cost impacts.
• Develop schedule analyses using CPM methodologies and perform delay impact assessments.
• Produce written reports, exhibits, and memoranda for clients and dispute proceedings.
• Support management of multiple engagements and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development through market research and client relations.
