Job summary

ODC Construction, LLC in Orlando, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Specialist to serve as a key liaison between ODC, attorneys, and claims adjusters in the defense of construction defect claims.

The ideal candidate will coordinate communication, manage documentation, and represent ODC in legal proceedings as needed. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between ODC, attorneys, and claim adjusters in defense of construction defect claims.
• Forward notices to insurance carriers/adjusters.
• Verify subcontractor scope and provide COIs for policy periods.
• Coordinate with accounting to obtain JCD data from ComputerEase.
• Review master trade and subcontractor agreements and COIs for carriers.
• Monitor new lawsuits and coordinate responses as needed.
• Represent ODC at mediations and attend related scheduling.
• Maintain a calendar of mediations and inform upper management.
• Attend field inspections to evaluate defects presented by plaintiffs.
• Monitor and follow up on cases to ensure timely resolution.
