Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking a Construction Coordinator (Change Management) to oversee cost recovery and scope changes across our projects. You will analyze contracts, JV agreements, and purchase orders to determine entitlement for back charges and change orders, coordinating with operations, engineering, procurement, and client teams.

Reporting to the Change Management Lead, you will prepare change orders, document extra work, track costs, and forecast impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of construction experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the contract and project agreements (JV, consortium, partnerships).
• Read and interpret purchase orders, drawings, specs, codes, and standards to substantiate back charges or change orders.
• Prepare change orders and back charges for scope changes and cost recovery.
• Forecast and track extra work costs and manage corresponding timesheets.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Subcontracts, QC, Accounting, Vendors, and Client.
