Job summary

National Pavement Partners, Inc. is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites and yards. The role supports construction operations by ensuring timely and secure deliveries, with a valid CDL and clean driving record preferred.

The ideal candidate will operate various commercial vehicles, follow schedules, and maintain logs while adhering to safety and DOT regulations. Long hours, weekends, and overtime may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean DOT medical card.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction or heavy-duty hauling.
• Experience hauling construction materials or equipment.
• Knowledge of load securement and safe operating practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and assist with loading/unloading.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks using proper methods.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and DOT compliance.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and trip documentation.
• Follow delivery schedules and dispatch directions.
• Secure loads with chains, binders, tarps, or straps.
• Comply with DOT, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist crews with site tasks after deliveries when needed.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
