Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled Carpenter to lay out and construct wooden form structures used in concrete and other building projects. You will read plans, measure and cut materials, and assemble forms on site, including bridges and drainage structures.

The role requires readiness to work nights/weekends/overtime and travel to job sites as needed; prior carpentry experience and ability to read plans are preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior construction carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and work from plans or sketches.

Responsibilities

• Lay out work from plans or sketches.
• Build wooden structures such as concrete forms, falsework, pouring chutes, and scaffolding.
• Build forms in place to line and grade, or prefabricate form units for installation.
• Follow safety onboarding and PPE requirements; report incidents promptly.
