Forcine Concrete & Construction Co. is seeking a CAD Layout Specialist with construction experience to join our office-based team in Malvern.

The role focuses on creating and managing CAD/layout files while occasionally visiting project sites to align field conditions with designs. The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, enjoys working with computers, and can train in CAD, surveying, and layout technologies.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in construction, surveying, layout, or field engineering.
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and prepare CAD files for field layout and construction.
• Review structural and architectural drawings and identify conflicts or discrepancies.
• Manage layout activities for assigned projects from start to finish.
• Establish horizontal and vertical control using Robotic Total Stations.
• Layout foundations, columns, walls and other structural elements.
• Perform field measurements and assist with surveying activities.
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to solve layout challenges.
• Maintain, organize, and properly use surveying and layout equipment.
• Continue developing skills through CAD, layout, surveying, and field technology training.
