Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Finance, or related field; experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• 3-5 years of construction experience, with desk-based analysis emphasis.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, focused on financial and project feasibility analysis.
• Proficiency in interpreting construction documents, budgets, and permits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct desk-based analyses of budgets and feasibility for various projects.
• Evaluate plans, specs, and permits to align with financial objectives.
• Prepare detailed reports for underwriting, valuations, and processing teams.
• Communicate critical findings and risks identified during reviews.
• Collaborate with valuations, underwriting, and processing teams to fund loans.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
