Columbia Woodworking seeks a Billing and Collections Specialist to manage the full billing cycle for high-end construction projects. You will prepare AIA pay applications, submit via Procore and Textura, track progress payments, lien waivers, and ensure timely collections from GCs/clients.

Collaboration with Project Managers is essential for accurate billing and compliance. Ideal candidates have AR experience in construction, proficiency with Sage/Starbuilder/Foundations, and strong Excel

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts receivable in construction, including AIA billing.
• Proficiency with construction software (Sage, Starbuilder, Foundations) and portals (Procore, Textura).
• Detail-oriented, organized and proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience learning new software quickly and interpreting contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Manage full billing cycle for projects, including AIA pay apps.
• Track progress payments, lien waivers, and retainage compliance.
• Apply customer payments, monitor AR aging, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare AR reports and support month-end close.
• Coordinate with PMs on billing adjustments and disputes.
