Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience in general contracting or construction.
• Must be able to generate own Leads for residential and commercial work.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication for client and vendor interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing.
• Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop detailed bid packages.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure best value.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to identify potential project challenges and cost factors.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients throughout the pre-construction phase.
• Maintain and update cost databases, historical data, and estimating software.
• Track bid results and assist in post-bid analysis to improve future estimates.
