Zusammenfassung

CLA is hiring an Audit & Assurance Senior to join the CLA Construction team. This in-office role is based out of either our Southern New England or Greater Philadelphia locations and offers a path to specialize in construction audits.

You will manage day-to-day audit engagements for construction clients, review procedures, design internal controls, prepare financial statements and disclosures, and communicate findings to clients and management.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance required.
• CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of public accounting audit experience required, with emphasis in financial statement prep, audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Prior experience with a public accounting or professional services firm preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites may require infrequent overnight travel.

Aufgaben

• Executing and managing the day-to-day activities of audit engagements for construction clients from start to finish, including budget, planning, fieldwork, directing staff and preparing financial statements.
• Reviewing client accounting and operating procedures.
• Developing and assessing the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Preparing financial statements and related disclosures and reportable condition letters.
• Communicating technical matters effectively with staff, management, and clients.
