Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is hiring an Audit & Assurance Senior to join the CLA Construction team. This in-office role is based out of either the Southern New England or Greater Philadelphia office locations.

You will lead day-to-day audit activities for construction clients, review procedures, and help design internal controls, with clear communication to clients and staff. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 2 years of public accounting audit experience required, with emphasis in financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations is required.
• Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executing and managing the day-to-day activities of audit engagements for construction clients from start to finish, including budget, planning, fieldwork, and financial statements.
• Reviewing client accounting and operating procedures.
• Developing and assessing the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Preparing financial statements and related disclosures and RCF letters.
• Communicating technical matters clearly to staff, management, and clients.
