The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of litigation experience, a Juris Doctorate, and active California bar status to provide world-class legal representation and contract drafting for construction projects. You will review, draft, and negotiate contracts, advise clients on strategy, and handle disputes with a focus on minimizing litigation when possible.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active membership in the California bar (ABA/local).
• 5–10 years of litigation and dispute resolution experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, building codes, and safety regs.
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review, modify, and create construction contracts and government contracts.
• Provide legal counsel by analyzing situations and determining strategy.
• Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and claims.
• Resolve construction claims to avoid litigation where possible.
• Mediate, negotiate, arbitrate, and argue motions in court.
• Supervise administrative staff and coordinate client billing and meetings.
