We are seeking an experienced construction law attorney to join a team in an Of Counsel or senior associate capacity. Practice Area Focus

• Primary focus on construction law; surety law experience is a strong plus
• Litigation experience is required; candidates with transactional-only or contract-only backgrounds are not a fit for this role
• Experience with public/private construction projects, bonding disputes, and/or contractor claims is preferred
• Business law experience is a welcome addition

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction law
• Active member of the Georgia Bar
• Demonstrated litigation experience in construction-related matters
• Surety law background preferred but not required
• A self-starter who can identify issues, exercise sound judgement, and take initiative
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and wants to be part of a collaborative team in a small firm setting

Compensation and Structure

• Target compensation: $175,000, structured on a draw against earnings model with quarterly true-ups
• Compensation is performance-tied to existing book of business and collections
• Employment status: preferred 1099 contractor
• Work arrangement: prefer in-office but open to hybrid arrangement
• North Atlanta, Georgia area preferred
