Job summary

SES Technologies LLC is expanding its workforce and seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers in coordinating project activities to ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met. The role involves learning all aspects of construction under supervision, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with field teams and clients.

The position reports to our Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA location, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in construction as a project engineer or assistant project manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related field preferred.
• USACE/NAVFAC or other federal construction experience preferred.
• Experience with ProCore project management software.
• Primavera P6 experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project budgets, change orders, scheduling and submittal processing.
• Assist the Project Manager in all phases and aspects of the project including meeting minutes, daily reports, and other project documentation.
• Develop understanding of the project drawings and specifications.
• Review owner contract terms and conditions.
• Provide support to field staff.
• Assist with project schedule development and maintenance.
• Identify and assist in resolving scope conflicts.
• Prepare materials for client, internal, and subcontractor meetings.
• Develop project plans and documentation including safety and quality plans.
• Assist with subcontractor outreach and bid preparation.
