Job summary

Henderson Scott US is seeking a Construction Assistant Superintendent for Ground-Up Residential work in New York, NY. You will assist with on-site operations from start to finish, coordinating with trades and supporting the project team.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (Structural Eng a plus) and have 2+ years of NYC residential construction experience, with Procore or similar PM software and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour Certification within past three years.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Superintendents on projects on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with various trades on site.
• Process administrative work when needed.
• Ensure site safety and oversee projects from inception to completion.

$80,000-$110,000

The Construction Assistant Superintendent | Ground-Up Residential will assist with the on-site working of these projects from start to finish.

The Construction Assistant Superintendent | Ground-Up Residential responsibilities include:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and project site evaluation to assist the Project Manager and Superintendent team in developing schedules and tracking project costs.
• Support the Lead Superintendents on the projects on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with the various trades on site.
• Process administrative work when needed.
• Ensuring site safety and overseeing the projects from inception to completion.

The Construction Assistant Superintendent |Ground-Up Residential will have:

• BS Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Structural Engineering Degree is a plus
• 2+ years' experience in Residential Construction in NYC.
• Project experience on ground up residential projects in NYC
• Extensive computer knowledge (Windows), and working knowledge of construction and project management software (Procore or equivalent desired)
• OSHA 30-hour Certification; issued in the past three years.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen after a conditional offer of employment is made.
• Ability to effectively apply verbal and written communication skills across multiple audiences
