Leading Developer / Residential General Contractor in New York seeks an Assistant Project Manager with 2+ years of ground-up construction experience. This role supports design coordination, budgeting and scheduling for residential ground-up projects, ensuring code compliance and timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds a BA in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Master's a plus) and demonstrates exceptional communication across design teams, contractors and clients as

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ground up construction experience.
• BA in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related fields; master's preferred.
• NY/NJ experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
• Familiar with building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completeness, design intent and compliance with local codes.
• Obtain clarifications from design team.
• Manage all aspects of construction project including preliminary design, development, contracts, procurement, daily monitoring and management.
• Oversee bank requisitions, punch list and final CO process for the owner.
• Prepare budgets and report capital expenditures to upper management.
• Oversee construction schedule, budget and timeline.
• Maintain subcontractor/owner relationships and ensure permits/licenses are acquired.
• Conduct post-project evaluations.

The ideal Assistant Project Manager is responsible for:

  Daily Construction Monitoring and Management
