Job summary

Cherry Coatings, based in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including project billing and customer account management. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with AIA billing and a background in construction billing.

Key responsibilities include preparing billings, processing payments, and performing collections activities to ensure timely cash flow. Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential. A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in receivables function or related accounting experience.
• Experience with AIA billing and contract-based invoicing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process project billings, including AIA progress billings.
• Review billing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Apply customer payments accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash and discrepancies.
• Monitor aging reports and perform collections activities.
• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances.
