CV Resources, Inc. is partnering with a family-owned construction client in Vernon, CA, to fill an AR/Bookkeeper role. You will handle customer invoices, collections, reconciliations, and support timely billing and payments.

You will work closely with project teams to ensure accuracy and strong internal controls. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in AR/billing, experience in construction billing, and solid Excel and ERP skills.

Competenze

• 3+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience.
• Construction industry experience with progress billing or project-based invoicing preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with invoice processing, cash applications, reconciliations, and aging reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Mansioni

• Prepare and process customer invoices, progress billings, and other billing documentation accurately and on time.
• Monitor outstanding accounts receivable balances and conduct collection calls and follow-up emails to secure timely payments.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payment status, account discrepancies, and billing issues professionally and promptly.
• Reconcile customer accounts, research payment discrepancies, and resolve short payments, unapplied cash, and outstanding balances.
• Apply customer payments, post cash receipts, and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Work closely with project managers, operations, and accounting teams to verify billing details, resolve disputes, and obtain supporting documentation.
• Track aging reports, monitor past-due accounts, and provide regular updates on collection status.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including AR reconciliations, reporting, and maintaining accurate account records.
• Maintain organized billing files and customer documentation to support internal controls and audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
