J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. is seeking an AP/AR Specialist to support financial operations across multiple projects, ensuring invoices, pay applications, payments, and account records are processed accurately and on time.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and excellent service to internal teams, vendors, and clients. Madison, WI-based candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience.
• Experience with accounting, ERP, expense management, or document management systems.
• Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions across multiple projects and entities.
• Resolve billing issues and provide timely communication throughout the payment process.
• Review invoices, pay applications, statements, receipts, and account activity to identify discrepancies and reconcile accounts.
• Support expense reporting, owner payment portals, ACH setup requests, and month-end accounting activities.
• Deliver responsive service to employees and business partners while maintaining confidentiality.
