Job summary

Flower World, Inc. is seeking a hands-on manager to oversee our large greenhouse and nursery operation. The role manages grounds, vehicles, greenhouses, heating/cooling systems, irrigation, and more, ensuring projects stay on schedule.

This on-site position requires practical maintenance skills and the ability to direct a crew without desk supervision. You will work with a team to install and repair pumps, boilers, and structures, while maintaining safety and efficiency across a 30-unit

Are you the person everyone calls when something breaks?Can you operate heavy equipment, fix pumps, build and repair greenhouses, troubleshoot a boiler—and still enjoy getting your hands dirty?

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on person to join our large greenhouse and nursery operation. This role requires you to see multiple projects and direct the team resources to get everything done on time.

This is a working manager position that proactively oversees the grounds, vehicles, greenhouses, heating and cooling systems, irrigation, and more.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Install, maintain and repair pumps and irrigation systems
• Build and repair plastic greenhouses
• Maintain and operate excavators, backhoes, dozers and farm equipment
• Work with heating, cooling and boiler systems
• Handle general construction, carpentry and mill operations
• Manage maintenance and repairs for a 30-unit equipment fleet
• Keep projects moving, anticipate needs, and solve problems as they arise

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We're looking for a skilled tradesman, equipment operator, mechanic, builder—or someone who has mastery of a little bit of everything.

You should be:Highly experienced with hands-on maintenance and construction

• Mechanically inclined and a good problem solver
• Dependable, organized and safety-minded
• Willing to work alongside your crew. This is NOT supervising from a desk

THE PACKAGE

Salary DOE but potential income up to $10,000 per month.
3-bedroom home, located next to the operation, for rent if needed.
