Job summary

Flower World, Inc. is seeking a hands-on manager to oversee our large greenhouse and nursery operation. The role manages grounds, vehicles, greenhouses, heating/cooling systems, irrigation, and more, ensuring projects stay on schedule.

This on-site position requires practical maintenance skills and the ability to direct a crew without desk supervision. You will work with a team to install and repair pumps, boilers, and structures, while maintaining safety and efficiency across a 30-unit

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on maintenance and construction experience.
• Mechanically skilled with problem-solving ability.
• Dependable, organized and safety-minded.
• Able to work with crew on-site, not just supervise.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair pumps and irrigation systems.
• Build and repair plastic greenhouses.
• Operate excavators, backhoes, dozers and farm equipment.
• Work with heating, cooling and boiler systems.
• Handle general construction, carpentry and mill operations.
• Manage maintenance and repairs for a 30-unit equipment fleet.
• Keep projects moving, anticipate needs, and solve problems as they arise.
