Job summary

Lead Dog Recruiting is assisting a full‑service architectural/engineering/planning and interior design firm in finding a Construction Administrator for its Charlotte Office. The role collaborates with project teams, contractors and clients, supporting projects through construction and ensuring conformance with design intent and contract documents.

The ideal candidate is mid‑level, organized, and client‑focused, with experience across market sectors and knowledge of AIA contracts; travel is

Qualifications

Degree in Building Construction, Architecture, Engineering Technology or related field.
Experience in construction administration within architectural, engineering, or construction environment.
Experience supporting commercial, healthcare, senior living, education, government, multifamily or institutional projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project specs, and AIA contract documents (A201).
CCCA certification preferred.
Experience using Newforma/Bluebeam or similar software preferred.
Willingness to travel 1–2 overnights/month for site visits/meetings.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, contractors and clients.
Support projects through the construction phase across market sectors.
Ensure projects are constructed per design intent and contract documents.
Contribute to timely, accurate project administration and client satisfaction.
