Job summary

Hoefer Wysocki Architecture in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Construction Administration Manager to coordinate between HW, contractors, owners, and code authorities to achieve the project intent. You will review RFIs, submittals, pay requests, and testing reports while guiding the CA process across multiple simultaneous projects.

The role demands leadership on site, mentorship of junior staff, and thorough quality assurance of construction documents.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Architectural Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management or hands-on experience preferred.
15+ years of experience in construction administration preferred.
Architectural registration and NCARB registration preferred; LEED Green Associate encouraged.

Responsibilities

Provide strong project leadership during construction phase.
Coordinate CA process across project teams and with stakeholders.
Serve as client liaison to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
Mentor less experienced architectural staff and provide guidance.
Lead bid phase activities including pre-bid meetings and responses to contractor inquiries.
Review RFIs, submittals, and pay requests; assess change orders with supporting documents.
Attend construction and OAC meetings and prepare site reports.
Travel to project sites as required.
