Baker Commodities Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced accounting leader to oversee day-to-day operations and drive construction-focused finance activities. You will manage the general ledger, month-end close, and sub-ledgers, ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.

The role collaborates with project teams, HR/payroll, and senior management to deliver timely financial insights. You will lead budgeting, reporting, and regulatory filings, while supporting cash management and variances

Formación

• 8+ years of accounting experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• 3+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Construction industry experience required.
• Sage Construction Software experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of WIP and job costing is a plus.
• Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
• Experience with progress billing and change orders.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage the general ledger and month-end close.
• Reconcile sub-ledgers including fixed assets.
• Prepare cash management reports and monitor cash flows.
• Oversee AR, AP, payroll and related filings.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for management.
• Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Assist management with budgeting and analyses.
• Interact professionally with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate financial records and procedures.
