Baker Commodities Inc. seeks a senior accounting professional in Phoenix to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and lead財 financial reporting. You will manage the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and payroll, ensuring timely close and accurate cash management.

The role requires strong construction accounting experience, WIP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills, with capacity for overtime and collaboration with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (B.S. in Business Admin focus).
• 8+ years of accounting experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• 3+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Knowledge of WIP and job costing.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Flexible schedule including overtime when needed.
• Sage Construction Software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage Sage and construction software and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly close journal entries.
• Reconcile sub-ledgers including fixed assets.
• Prepare cash management reports and monitor cash flows.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Oversee payroll and related filings.
• Prepare sales tax reconciliations and filings.
• Review financial reports with department managers and document variances.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for management.
