Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager (Individual Contributor) to join their growing finance team in Florida. This full-time, on-site role leads the month-end close, manages general ledgers, and coordinates reporting across departments.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of construction accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and experience with loan management and reconciliations. DOE salary range $90k–$120k with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Assistant Controller, or Controller.
• Construction accounting experience (3–5 years).
• Strong understanding of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Balance sheet reconciliations experience.
• Loan management/construction financing knowledge.
• General accounting concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial packages for management review.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage loan accounting and construction financing activities.
• Process weekly payroll and support vendor compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate accounting processes across multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Identify process improvements and support additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
