Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to join their growing finance team in an on-site role in Inlet Beach, FL. You will lead the full accounting cycle, including month-end close, and coordinate accounting operations across the organization.

This is an individual contributor position offering a stable environment, collaboration with leadership, and opportunities to expand expertise in construction accounting, loan management, and multi-entity accounting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, Assistant Controller, or Controller.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Finance considered with strong accounting background).
• 3–5 years of Construction Accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close; balance sheet reconciliations; loan management/construction financing; general accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial packages for management review.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage loan accounting and construction financing activities.
• Process weekly payroll and support vendor compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate accounting processes across multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Identify process improvements and support additional accounting and finance projects as needed.
