Cumming Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Constructability Review Specialist to support its education project construction portfolio. You will work with project leadership to review requirements, improve constructability, and coordinate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 15 years full-time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree and the following: a) 10 years as Construction Administrator b) 5 years as Designer with public/educational facility projects worth ≥ $8M;
• OR 15 years full-time paid professional experience as a Project Superintendent/Project Manager on public/educational and/or large commercial projects with single project value > $30M and cumulative value > $400M.

Responsibilities

• Define and review the Project Requirement Document scope and schedule, including interim housing requirements.
• Provide value engineering recommendations at the outset of the design.
• Comment on the design professional's deliverables to reduce RFIs and Change Orders.
• Coordinate documents across design disciplines.
• Prepare comprehensive constructability reviews of pre-bid construction documents.
• Coordinate efforts with Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative.
