Job summary

The MSU Department of Family Medicine seeks a Consortium Coordinator to oversee programmatic, operational, and research activities for the HERA Initiative, a national funding program created by RWJF. This role is based at MSU and collaborates with coordinating center partners, RWJF, and community partners to operationalize community-led research funding and programming.

This position supports the design, distribution, dissemination, and evaluation of HERA by advancing funding opportunities and

Qualifications

Master's degree in public health, social science, health policy, communications, social work, or related field.
3–5 years of related experience in program coordination, research administration, or communications.
Experience working across institutions or with multi-partner initiatives.

Responsibilities

Coordinate cross-center project plans and meetings across multiple groups.
Manage scheduling and follow-up for the Deputy Director and Co-Directors.
Maintain systems for project management and knowledge sharing across partners.
Track MSU project performance, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
Prepare regular status updates, reports, and program documentation.
Assist in developing and implementing funding opportunities and review processes.
