Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Guard to observe and report activities at a client site in New York, standing for most of the shift and enforcing site rules. A NYS Security Guard License is required.

You will patrol premises, report observations, secure entry points, and assist with incident response while providing reliable customer service on weekends. Must be able to communicate clearly, de-escalate situations, and work with a team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License is required.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation may be needed.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Satuday & Sunday 0700 - 1500; Tuesday & Wednesday 2300-0700

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.06/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications
