This role involves acquiring high-quality consignments and building relationships with collectors and institutions. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in the auction field, strong negotiation skills, and a dedication to customer service. Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in auction house or major institution specializing in historical documents.
• Expertise in autographs, letters, documents, archives, or historical ephemera.
• Experience with collection curation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow and refine the Manuscripts category within Heritage Auctions.
• Source consignments from private collections and institutions.
• Evaluate manuscripts for authenticity and market value.
• Negotiate terms of consignment.
• Promote Manuscripts auctions and sales.
