Job summary

Brevard County is seeking a skilled grounds and facilities maintenance worker to manage conservation lands, habitats, trails, and related property facilities across county sites.

Open to candidates with two years of maintenance experience and applicable coursework; a relevant associate degree plus six months experience also qualifies. Flexible schedule, full-time, with benefits and competitive starting pay.

Qualifications

• Two years of grounds and facility maintenance experience with equipment repair.
• Assoc. degree plus six months conservation land maintenance coursework or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment preferred (mulching excavators, bulldozers, farming equipment).

Responsibilities

• Perform experienced land management work on conservation lands, maintaining habitats, trails, equipment and related facilities and structures.
