Job summary

Natural Lands in Media, PA invites applications for a Conservation Easement Intern to support annual monitoring, reporting, and easement review. The role provides hands-on exposure to field site visits, data collection, and file management within an accredited land trust framework.

You will work closely with program staff, gain experience with Lens by Upstream Tech and the Landscape database, and learn Land Trust Alliance Standards.

Qualifications

• Must be highly motivated, reliable, and detail‑oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willing to work with a wide variety of people.
• Own a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Comfortable working in-office at Hildacy Preserve and traveling to easement sites in eastern PA on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Conservation Easement staff on monitoring tasks.
• Assist with site visits and review aerial imagery.
• Use Lens by Upstream Tech for monitoring and reporting.
• Maintain Landscape database records and files.
• Draft post‑monitoring communications.
• Learn standards of Land Trust Alliance for stewardship.
