Job summary

The Boeing Company in Seal Beach, CA, seeks an Associate or Experienced ConOps & Architecture Engineer to lead the development of operational concepts for space missions and to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.

You will apply MBSE and systems engineering to design space vehicle architectures, work with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver feasible solutions under aggressive timelines. This onsite role may explore alternate locations based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance required (U.S. citizenship).
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering tech, chemistry, physics, math, data science, or computer science.
• 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
• 1+ years in systems integration with SE processes.
• 1+ years in architecture, ConOps and requirements for space-based systems.
• Experience in space systems and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with MBSE.

Responsibilities

• Support technology integration for first-of-kind space vehicles and missions.
• Develop and present review packages to internal and external senior leadership.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment and lead complex trade studies.
• Ensure proper system architecture to support mission objectives.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to resolve cross-segment issues.
